Any girl's team in America knows what it's like to be overlooked in the sports world. Our volleyball team, unlike almost any boy's team in my school, was one of the final four in the state this year. Even though our team went that far, and another volleyball team in my county got to the playoffs, the football teams only won one game, yet they still got just as much publicity as us. The sports world definitely overlooks women's sports. Even though women's sports have just begun to be televised, there still isn't much of it on TV. There are channels devoted solely to sports on which you might find two women's sports a day.
