Language expands your mind and your world. The philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein once said, "The limits of my language are the limits of my world." Barbara Mellix might think that Wittgenstein said this merely because of his race and whereabouts. Mellix is a black woman who grew up in the south. She believes that she that the world has her bound and there is a limit to how far she can carry her race and expression. Although Wittgenstein was a white male, he would still be limited to whom he could communicate with due to geographical location and heritage.
