Drugs play a negative part in every day life. It also affects the lives of many. Drugs have become widely recognized as a social and economical problem that affects society as a whole. Drugs such as heroine, cocaine, barbiturates, cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines, and alcohol; are harmful. By using these types of drugs, it not only affects society but the users as well. In looking at drugs, we must first define the word drug. What does this word mean? According to the Merriam Webster Medical Dictionary, drugs can defined as any substance other than food, which by chemical nature affects the structure or function of the living organism.
