"Suffer the Little Children" is a great science fiction story written by the legendary author Stephen King. The short story is filled with many descriptive statements that really catch the reader's imagination. "Suffer the Little Children" is about a third grade elementary school teacher who is very strict and short-tempered. This is one of those teachers that all of us hated throughout school, there are absolutely no breaks. Her instincts felt the wrath of something bad happening, but she did not know what it was. Little did she know that her mean teaching style would backfire against her all in a short period of time. Stephen King uses three great techniques to suck the reader into this short story; the phsyco teacher in Miss Sidley and her class, the descriptive statements, and the usual science fiction style that King is famous for.

Miss Sidley is a great teacher when it comes to learning, but when she has to deal with the responsibilities of little kids she just does not fair well. The beginning did not seem like it was going to be a science fiction due to the scene of the typical third grade classroom. There are a lot of secrets that were going around that classroom and maybe that is how things are in real life who knows?
