The discovery of the "New World" by Christopher Columbus and Spanish conquistadors were that of a great progress; yet struggles and many hardships. I state that there were struggles due to the endless battles and mistakes of finding land and/ or America.
It is mentioned that Columbus had landed in the New World by accident. When he sighted land by the way of sailing, he thought that he had reached his goal, which was Asia. Although, he made a mistake, Columbus still was a daring discoverer.
