The government controls parts of our lives in many ways. The Government, built by our fore fathers, is a grand establishment built by and for the people of this great nation. The government provides justice and protection for the citizens whom it serves. The government makes many Americans proud; however, some people are weary of this organization because of the tremendous amount of power at its fingertips. Is it possible that our government officials could lie to the public? If the president lied to the country when he said "I did not have sexual relationships with that woman..." in the year 1999, then is it possible that our government could have already lied to its citizens fifty years earlier? Some people believe that the government has lied about American astronauts landing on the moon, while other people disagree.
