For a quick, witty, double crossing politician, Antony is still known for a "masker

and a revealer." In III. you thought that the death of Caesar made this act the turning point

or could it have been the public stand off between Antony and Brutus to show that Antony

is the true hero of the play. Antony with the strong power of rhetoric, depicts the meaning

of an "honorable man," in front of a hostile mob in III.ii. Antony has strengths to show

himself worthy enough of dictatorship but with the conspirators Brutus and Cassius in his

way he joins with Octavius and Lepidus to help defeat them. With the power struggle

getting stronger Antony agrees with Octavius to only use Lepidus as a "property". But

with the flaws of wanting to much like any other man, greed gets the best of him.

Antony as the Epicurean, shows many good virtues to fit a true male hero. Antony

shows his witty side in III.i. with just the death of Caesar his most valiant friend he knows
