A detailed Summary of soft money

What is soft money and why is it a problem? Why is soft money illegal? Why and how is soft money spreading and growing so widely ?

Why I chose this topic, evaluation of sources

I chose this topic because I was reading through the chapter and came across the words in the book and I did not know what it was and it seemed to interest me. As I learned what it is one of the many things that is going on in the political world illegally and no one is doing anything about it. I wondered, if people know that this is going on and they know that it is illegal, I asked myself, then why doesn't anyone do something about it? I wanted to answer that question. I looked through the book for the rest of the information that it had on soft money and then I went on the Internet and surfed the web looking for anything that I could find on the topic and I came up with a few things. Most of the information that I used came from the Internet.

arned what soft money is. Soft money is money that is used by political parties and federal candidates use and obtain illegally. Soft money is illegal and it has been attempted to remove it from national campaigns. I learned that it has been illegal to use soft money since 1907. No one individual is allowed to spend more than a certain amount of money on federal candidates and/or political parties in order to influence the turnout of the election.

III-How what I learned relates to what I've studied

I agree with this and I believe that soft money should be banned. I think that it influences the campaigns in a way that may be bad. I think that most of the election turnouts would change if the soft money had been taken out when it could have.
