God Emperor of Dune is the fourth book in the Dune series. The "God Emperor" is the son of Maud'Dib the main character form the first book. He has undergone a physical transformation, giving him most of the body of a Dune sandworm, while retaining his mind and prescient powers. The Universe is completely in his grip. Even the farthest planets are under his control.
The time scale of the Dune books is really wired. This volume is set a few thousand years after the end of book three. The God Emperor
