A detailed Summary of description
Whenever I feel overwhelmed or worn out from work, school, and everyday life; I just go to my room to clear my mind and relax. You can find me lying across the bed, listening to music when I want to escape from all my problems and when I just want to be alone in my solitude. It is the one place where I feel the most safe, like a baby in its mothers arm, and most comfortable. At first glance, it may look like any other rooms in the house, but in fact; it comes with its own style, as do the other rooms in the house.
The room is an average size space, about 15 feet by 21 feet, with a desk, a computer, a dresser, a closet, and of course, a bed. When entering the room, a light scent of honeydew melon overcomes you; from a candle that I burn when I want to relax. When the candle is lit the honeydew aroma overwhelms the room, as if it where smothering the air occupying the room. Painted a very pale mint green with a bright white boarder trim at the top and bottom are the colors of my walls. An authentic, aesthetic oriental rug lies in the middle of the room. An imprint of a tiger, patterns the rug with the colors of black and light brown. It is the first object that stands out, the rug with the tiger imprint, when walking into

Although my door is usually open, I like some privacy too. There are those times when you just want to shut the world out and have a moment of peace and relaxation. The location of my bedroom is excellent, far better than any other room in the house. It is away from all the other bedrooms and, more important, it is close to the bathroom. No matter how difficult and complicated life becomes, my room is always my peaceful sanctuary. Towards the end of every long day, I look forward to going home to my bedroom, turning on the music, looking at all pictures, and jumping right underneath the soft covers of my bed.
times for hours. The bed is the first place my family and friends assemble when they come into my room. It's the place where we engage in conversation and chat about our day and life in general.
My cherry red maple wood computer desk is placed beside my iron sleigh bed. It contains three big drawers completely filled with possessions I have collected over the years. I always enjoy going through them, because they bring back old memories of events and people in my life. Usually, I will find old toys that I used to play with when I was a lot younger. If I am lucky, I will even find money hidden within the drawers. The drawers are so messy; it looks like a mini tornado went through them. Going through my drawers would not be the same if they were clean and organized. It's a discovery, finding old belongings that you thought you had lost or misplaced in the past. The drawers are so full; it is like going fishing, not knowing what you will get or find at the end. On top of the cherry-red maple desk is my Dell XPS computer system monitor. It is a 17-inch off white colored monitor. Beneath the right side of the desk is a slot for my computer processor. Direct!
