similarities between the movie "Antz" and the book "Brave New World"

Antz, contrary to the title, is more about humans than the insects we despise at picnics. The movie is completely animated, but it's very clear that the protagonist Z is a character which symbolizes Aldos Huxley's character John in the book, Brave New World. Many of the characters in the movie Antz are symbolic of characters in the book Brave New World, and their actions resemble the book too. Some of the events that take place in the movie Antz are directly related to the events that occur in the book Brave New World.

The three characters, from Antz, that best symbolize characters in a Brave New World are Z, who symbolizes John, Princess Bala, who symbolizeds Lenina, and Weever, a soldier who symbolizes the 2nd highest caste in the Utopian society. Later in the story Antz, the evil General Mandible (who symbolized Mustapha Mond) has other plans for the soldiers, and sends them off to fight the vicious termite army. A stark fight results in the destruction of the termite and ant armies. This symbolizes the quarreling between John and Mustapha Mond in Brave New World. The war between the termite army and the ant colony symbolizes the Utopian societys fight with soma. Eventhough the fight the Utopian society fights isn't realized by the citizens there is definately a direct connecti
