The Masterworks III All Tchaikovsky symphony orchestra was a fairly decent concert. There were a lot of things that I liked, and a lot of things that I did not like about it. The orchestra was held at the Sangamon Auditorium on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. The concert lasted somewhere in between two and two and a half hours long. The first half of it lasted about an hour, or a little less, and the second half lasted just a little longer than the first half. For the most part it was a symphony orchestra, but there was a very impressive piano solo, which I will get into later. The concert was held in an auditorium with a very nice set up. I really liked how we were elevated above the orchestra. It was neat to look down on the musicians as they were playing. However, I did notice that there were a few seats
The concert itself was not too bad in general. I do not foresee myself spending my weekends at symphonies, but it was definitely a good experience for me. The thing that really bugged me about it is that I felt very low classed there. I thought it was going to be a casual dress, so I showed up in jeans and a decent shirt, and when I walked in I saw almost everyone in formal dress. To show up and see everyone in dresses and tuxes while I was in jeans and a shirt made me feel very uncomfortable. Outside of that I actually enjoyed the concert.
open in the orchestra. I am not sure if it was planned that way or if there were some people absent from the symphony. The stage was also very big, I wa!
