Has it ever occurred to you that it is time for a change in the way Americans elect the futurepresident. With all the flaws the electoral college vote brings, their needs to be a change. The popular vote should be the standard way to elect the president. One has to feel that the past presidential election was a major let down to our country. In the since that other countries throughout the world must be looking at the American society and thinking “what a discrase”. This is all because of the system we vote under. Which is the electoral college vote. The electoral college system is calculated in such a matter were each state has a certain number of electoral votes. They determine electoral votes on how many people live in any given state. Once they have that they determine the next president by the first candidate who reaches 275 electoral votes. If one thinks about it hard enough this way could be affected by many inaccurate ballets. A perfect example would be the Florida recount. This was caused by the citizens in Palm Beach County in Florida.
