The time I felt most vulnerable was the time I was sent to a camp for two weeks at the age of ten. The camp was a YMCA camp in the north Georgia Mountains about four hours away from home. It was the first time I had ever been away from home for longer than two days. I felt like a little five year old and the worse thing was that I was a smaller skater punk with long hair. I felt like I was unable to take up for myself. My parents dropped me off and when they left I knew no one. I wish I had gone with a friend; I probably would have had a great time.
