Since the day I started smoking, I knew I was getting myself into big trouble. I started smoking when I was 14 years old. Now, I am 18 and each time I light up a cigarette, I regret the day I started this disgusting habit. First I started smoking five cigarettes a day, and then as every habit does, it started increasing. Now I smoke around a pack a day. I am of course, aware that I am shortening my life, with each cigarette I smoke, but it has gotten very hard for me to stop. Now that a new millennium is starting, I am willing to quit smoking no matter what. I have been looking for ways to quit smoking, but I got to the conclusion that everything involves willpower and wanting to quit.
I have been reading many articles on how to quit. There are many great tips on how to quit
make your goal successful. For example the first tip is to inhale scents of black pepper and mint. They say this tip reduces the anxiety and cravings of smoking. Then they also talk about giving you baths with salt. This tip is supposed to clean up your body from all the nicotine and tar.
develop a quitting plan. And then after you develop a quitting plan develop a quitting date. After you set yourself on these two plans, through out all the cigarettes, ashtrays and matches
Another great, mostly I thing this one is the best tip a person can do to quit smoking, is to have bad thoughts when you are about to get a cigarette. I think that when you are about to smoke, imagine the worst case scenario. I
