Thinking Questions
A detailed Summary of Thinking Questions
1.You have so little time to complete your current project that you have to skip a few of the tasks in the composition process. You've already cut as many corners as you can in the planning and composing stages. Which tasks in the revision phase would be the best to bypass: editing, rewriting, producing, or proofreading? Explain.
In my opinion editing would be the factor of the revision phase that I would consider to bypass, since in the editing process you do not go into detail. The only thing you do is read through it generally and make sure the first appearance is the way you want it. In the proofreading process however you go into detail further. Proofreading is essential to produce credible messages with no spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors.
Rewriting is also important, since here you can change formulations and grammatical incorrect sentence structures. This allows you to take the draft of your composition as a guideline for the final draft. When rewriting a document you often see things more clearly and sometimes might even find additions that you can add in to make the subject even more interesting and more complete.
When all these steps are completed the composition can be produced.

I believe it is essential for all employees who deal with document preparation to be informed and know how to use the latest technological tools for document preparation. Since technology is advancing rapidly and the communication process in an organization is changing accordingly, employees have to be able to adjust and act accordingly to that change. And they will only be able to keep up with the change in technological advancements, if they are skilled and trained to work with such new technological tools. Documents will be prepared more effectively and more efficiently as well. Employees should know how to use them because otherwise the implementation and configuration of such new investments could not be guaranteed. Therefore I believe that companies should train and encourage employees to use these new technologies to speed up the documentation process and therefore improve productivity.
4. Why are companies interested in collaborative technologies such as teleconferencing and groupware?
it important to let your draft "age" a day before you begin the editing process?
6. When you are designing a formal business letter, which design elements do you have to consider and which are optional?
I would call these design elements the essential or basic elements that should be imminent in every formal business letter.
We live in a world that has changed rapidly in the past 10 years. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident t
