Marijuana, also known as weed, pot, grass, bud, trees and many other street slang words, should not under any circumstances be legalized due to the negative effects it has on society. It can and would destroy society with time if it were legal, in other words easier to get. Marijuana may not seem so bad but when looked at carefully anyone can clearly see the negative sides to it.

Marijuana is proven to destroy brain cells resulting in burnt out, or slow, people. If it were legalized then the majority of society would walk around like zombies looking for munchies all the time. All they would want to do is get high. Not only would people be slow mentally but
