The purpose of a cool is to have the blood to return to the muscles that were used during the workout. When this occurs, it prevents the individual to experience dizziness or fainting from the circulation of blood flood throughout the body.
The general purpose of a warm-up is to raise (elevate) the temperature for the muscles and to also for the blood to gain in volume.
