Honey Moon, a romance novel written by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is based on a girl who came from a rundown South Carolina amusement park to the shimmering glamour of Hollywood. Left an orphan at a young age, Honey Moon was left with the responsibility to maintain an amusement park. With her fierce attitude and the determination of having a family she can call her own, Honey Jane Moon became an inveterate child star artist ready to take on the world.

This romance novel is based three apathetic characters who make life for Honey Moon difficult to have the family she dreams of. Honey Moon being an orphan is forced to move with her aunt in South Carolina who is unappreciative of her. Because the amusement park got shut down and they didn't have any money so Honey made Chantal, her beautiful cousin, enter a beauty contest that would give her the opportunity to audition for a pilot for the Dash Coogan Show. The beauty contest gave her the opportunity to audition but there was no means of transportation, so Honey and Chantal drove to Hollywood for the audition.

I really liked this book because it was a romance. I dream of my own prince charming on a white horse, and that is what this book is about with a few twists of real life. I would recommend it to anyone who is a hopeless romantic.

On the set, she was falling for Eric, who played the part of Blake. He had a hidden past that wouldn't let anyone get too close to him. He had caused the death of his younger brother in his wild teen years and it still haunted him. He did not pay attention to Honey, especially after he found someone to marry. Nobody really liked Honey on the set because she was a big brat with an even bigger attitude. One day Dash set her straight and even tried to befriend her. He invited her to his ranch and she gladly accepted. Her visits to the ranch became more frequent with time and she forgot about Eric. Instead she realized that she was in love with Dash.
