Harry Potter
Is Harry Potter teaching children sexism? Once upon a time, a magical children's novel landed on the bookshelves of may countries throughout the world. Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling is an enchanting tale of a boy's journey from a neglected childhood to a witchcraft school. Like this story along with many other Harry Potter books, these series became so popular among children and even adults. Why are people against them if they are popular among children? After doing some research there are many reasons but the main reason I will be focusing on in this paper is sexism. Who are these people against them? She does the best she can to be accepted but Ron and Harry treat her as a "tag-along." She struggles so hard to get respect and approval from Harry and Ron. How fun could she be, if Hermoine is always studying and reading and has no girlfriends besides Ginny Ron's sister? Ginny has a crush on Harry so her attitude is different than Hermione. It seems as though they are the! not cross my mind once. I among other readers like this book for many reasons. Maybe because it is well plotted, suspenseful and cleaver. How many of us haven't had a teacher who was unfair for
