Have you ever done one thing in your life that you wished you could have changed? When Tom was a senior in high school he made the bad decision of getting in a car with alcohol. It was all fun and games for Tom until the police got mixed into the situation. After he was arrested he faced sever consequences. Tommy's run in with the law during his senior year drastically affected his life.
Tom's arrest caused his social life to come to a halt during his senior year. After, Tom's arrest the police and his parents had had him on a strict probation. He was not able to leave his parents house unless he was with them or attending school. Tom was not able to attend his senior prom because of his probation. The senior prom was an event he had been looking forward to since he started high school. Tom's date, Blair, was heart broken when she found out she would have to attend the prom with someone other than her high school sweetheart. Tom worked all summer long to pay for his senior trip. His class was going to fly to Cancun for spring break of two thousand. Tom's class had to make that memorable trip without him though because; leaving the country was a violation of his probation. Tom had been looking forward to all of thes

Tom's self-esteem was at an all time low after his run-in with the police. Part of Tommy's probation was to attend a group for drug and alcohol abuse. Hanging out and talking with these drug addicts was not helping Tommy at all. In fact, all it was doing was making him fell like a chemical abuser. He felt like a looser for going to these counseling sessions. He began to think real negatively about himself. He thought maybe all he would grow up to be was a jailbird and what was the use in cleaning up his act. When Tom was grounded, he turned into quite the little hermit. He would stay locked up in his room all day and night. When Tommy would leave, he would not even talk to anyone. A typical day of his life consisted of Tom laying in his room feeling sorry for himself and thinking of how big of a screw up he had turned into. Tom's parents were even more worried about him now. They would always try to talk to him and see how things were going but he would just blow t!
