When Diana, Princess of Wales tragically died in a senseless accident on August 31, 1997, the world lost one of the most important and respected public figures in the world. In this paper, I hope to realize the extent of the charities that Princess Diana was involved with. I also hope to gain a fuller understanding of her motivations and needs to bring attention to some of the atrocities that she observed. Princess Diana's fame and reputation allowed her to travel around the world. I would like to trace the extent of her travels and the amount that she extended herself in reaching her goals in helping needy people. I chose this topic because I have always admired Princess Diana's integrity and sincere use of her notoriety to actively campaign for the less fortunate in the world, especially the children.
