Dead Man Walking

Dead Man Walking is the story of two Death Row inmates, Patrick Sonnier and Robert Willie, and a nun, Sister Helen Prejean, who befriends them. This story addresses the controversial issue of the death penalty with an intensely personal look at the people involved in their cases. Family and friends of the victim often say that the criminal deserves the death penalty. Deserved? Is justice the motive here, or is it revenge? If death penalty advocates favor executions because they believe justice is being served, would they
