How many people here have been to a party that really really sucked? The music sucked the drinks sucked, and it was jus plain boring. We are here today to tell you how to throw a successful party and avoid being the host of a boring unsuccessful party. There are several factors that play into throwing a successful party such as: music, alcohol, and several other dos and don'ts.

To throw a successful party there has to be good music. Dance music is a must at any party because, after everybody has a few drinks everybody likes to hit the dance floor and have a good time. We conducted a survey of 100 Whitewater college students to find out what kind of dance music they preferred and parties. We found that the most popular bands were Outcast, DMX, Nelly, and Ja Rule, we also found that dance music such as Brittany Spears, Backstreet Boys, and N'YNC among the least popular.
