are parents involved enough in their child education
Are Parents Involved Enough in Their Child's EducationChildren today are motivated and influenced by positive role models in their lives. Whether their role model is a super-hero on Television, a favorite teacher, or a parent, children usually have someone that they learn from, and look up to. Today it is becoming more likely for children to look up to someone they see on Television, or someone from a movie. Parents should look at this and see that our children need a more substantial and physical role model, someone that a child can actually have a conversation with, rather than wish they could. Although sometimes figures on Television or in movies can play some positive roles in all of our lives, it is usually more educational to learn from a real-life situation. Teachers and Parents both can take actions to help students improve skills that they are definitely capable of and they can help take those skills to the next level. Some parents don't know how to help their children because their child doesn't learn the way that it is taught. Remember that there is more than one way to study, and it's not necessary for your child's learning style to be the same as yours (Vockell, 203). Parents are the most important factor in a child's life especially from the education aspect. When children grow up in a healthy and positive home, they tend to have a more positive outlook on the way that they approach life. Education is one of the most important things in our children's lives, and when parents begin teaching their children at an early age, it helps to show just how important education really is. Parents and teachers are the people that children will remember most throughout their lifetimes and it is very important to help them remember that they are valued, and we as parents and teachers share in the joys of learning with them.
