I like the book because it had a really good dialog and it had words that I could understand. It was tragic how they would treat the people. They would treat the slaves how they treated the African Americans. They would get slaves and behind there back they would hit them with a wipes on there back if there to slow or if they did something wrong like fall on the floor.
