It was a cold and frosty morning as I left for my bus stop. This year my bus stop had been changed so I had to walk farther to get to it. This was kind of a pain but I got used to it and learned to like it.
I was tired and cold as I walked down that open street. When I arrived at my bus stop no one was there yet so I sat down on the cub and waited. I looked to my left down the road and I saw a gray car driving at about normal speed so I ignored it but then I looked ahead down another road and a red car was going extremely fast toward the intersection. I had a gut feeling that told me to back away from the bus stop so I did. I backed up about twenty feet.
Then the red car tried to run through the stop sign and the gray car slammed right into it and the red car rolled over twice and stopped right where I had been sitting down before I backed up.
I was in shock. My arms where trembling and my heart was racing like a drum at a sacrificial ceremony. The
I then told the officer that now that the bus had left we had no ride to school so he told us he would give us a ride in his police cruiser. We agreed and we got in the cruiser. While we were in the cruiser he did a search on his computer in the car on the two license plates that were involved in the crash. That was pretty neat. As we pulled up the school driveway and stepped out of the cruiser still in shock we thanked him went inside.
His girlfriend had broken her leg and he was obsessing about his car. I was in shock about that too. Oh the smell, the smell was horrible, it was of burning rubber and gasoline. I felt dizzy and nauseated. Then in the distance I heard a bunch of sirens and they were coming this way. Then I saw them down at the end of the road speeding toward the dreadful accident scene.
two men who were in the gray car got out and went over to the red car, which was upside down. One of the men helped the guy in the red car out well the other help
