These three articles were all about the relation of criminology to popular culture. I believe that a lot of the scenarios and perceptions towards certain violent movies are true. By using certain characters (heroic father or hard bodies) they can allow the viewer to perceive that character as part of their reality.
I personally didn't like the findacticles.com article. I found it to be long and strung out. Some of it also I couldn't really follow "these narratives violently enact the centrality of the family, tortured and triumphant". This was in context of talking about the action thriller genre and how it was centered on families. I felt that the author tried a little to hard when trying to write this article rather than just get the main points of each genre across. Its just a matter of learning how to correct that actions rather then trying to prevent something that will inevitably happen. I also believe that the more you tell a child or even a young adult that they cannot do a certain action, the more they will want to actually pursue that action.
The third and final article about "Television Imagery and Public Knowl
