A detailed Summary of The Call of the Wild
For my book report, I read The Call of the Wild. It is written by Jack London.
The main Character is Buck. Buck is a muscular one hundred forty pound dog. The
setting is a big house in the Santa Clara Valley. They called it Judge Millers Place. Bucks
father, a St. Bernard, was called Elmo. Elmo was the judges companion. Buck's goal
One day, Buck was taken from his home in civilization and beaten and teased by
many men. They were trying to teach him a lesson for something he had done. He was
then brought out in the wild with another dog named Curly. There was a beastly dog
named Dave there also. Dave was very passive. He did not do anything and he would get
mad and annoying when Buck and Curly got excited.
Buck was not used to anything on the Dyea beach. There was snow which is very
new to him. He had never seen dogs fight as aggressive as they do on the Dyea beach.
