The WASC committee who decided that the weakest point in Harbor was the discipline, identified the biggest problem was an alarming amount of tardies. A solution to this difficulty was to implement a new policy that punishes people who come into their class late without an excuse by giving them detention. The policy requires that tardy students sign a pink sheet that hangs in every classroom, the teacher must then call the students parents to inform them of their child's tardy.
