Abortion: Life or Death, who chooses?

Abortion: Life or Death, Who chooses?

During the past quarter century, abortion has joined race and war as one of the most debatable subject of controversy

in the United States. It discusses human interaction where ethics, emotions and law come together. Abortion poses a

moral, social and medical dilemma that faces many

individuals to create a emotional and violent atmosphere. There are many points of view toward abortion but the only two fine distinctions are "pro-choice" and "pro-life". A pro-choicer would feel that the decision to abort a pregnancy is that of the mothers and the state has no right to interfere.

A pro-lifer would hold that from the moment of conception, the embryo or fetus is alive. This life imposes on us a

moral obligation to preserve it and that abortion is tantamount to murder.

In the United States about 1.6 million pregnancies end in abortion. Women with incomes under eleven thousand are

over three times more likely to abort than those with incomes above twenty-five thousand. Unmarried women are

four to five times more likely to abort than married and the abortion rate has doubled for 18 and 19 year olds.

Recently the U.S. rate dropped 6 percent overall but the rate of abortion among girls young

Scientific research has successfully shown that abortion causes many psychological side effects. It leaves the woman

The pro-lifers think that these were all little babies who deserve full protection like any other living human being. Now, let's say this is Nazi Germany, and we find out that millions of people are being killed. Would it be hypocritical to kill the leaders of the concentration camps in an effort to save them? I would hope it would not be, even if the people who opposed the killing of people in concentration camps called themselves "pro-life". I'd hope that all of you would be cheering on the killing of the concentration camp leaders, in fact. The pro-lifers are, in this case, misguided, but there is NOTHING inconsistent about the basic idea of killing the killers to save the innocent.

But ask yourself this: If your wife, mother, sister, friend, or daughter decides to have a baby, and is pregnant, are you ever going to say to her:

with many strong feelings about their decision. They feel sadness, wishing things could have been different and grief

Whether abortions are right or wrong, this is a disgusting piece of dishonest trickery.

Ah, no. If men could get pregnant, then abortion would actually be illegal right now. Men have made abortion legal now in order, after the feminists got abortion banned, to allow them to pressure women into having abortions so they don't have to pay child support. Why on earth, First, I believe abortion is wrong, but needs to be legal.

This is one of the lies where the abortionists have gotten busted the hardest. In Congress they lied and claimed only a couple thousand partial birth abortions happen per year...but then it was proven, on hard paper in official records available to anyone, that, out of THOUSANDS of abortion centers, a SINGLE ABORTION CENTER in New Jersey commits over THREE THOUSAND partial birth abortions per year. Imagine how many go on nationwide.

In fact, those on the "religious right" who believe abortion should be banned should be the FIRST to oppose banning it on religious grounds! They should oppose it because NEXT TIME it could be THEIR religious views which get trampled, using this exact argument as precedent. Let's face it - with THIS government, MOST such violations will be AGAINST them, not for them...the last thing they need to do is support the same kind of law and give their opposition that much more ammo.

Pro-Lifers are hypocrites for trying to kill abortion doctors

failure that creates more excuses for oppressive government.

I believe abortion needs to be legal, but I don't believe in behaving like a bigot in order to justify it. This is inexcusable.
