A detailed Summary of Lost Angel

I have read many books in the past, but "Lost Angel" by Marilyn Wallace was a book to definitely remember. This book is a combination of drama and mystery. The book kept me waiting for the next scene with the gradual unexpected elements that just kept popping up. If at any point in the book you felt you could solve this disturbing mystery ms. Wallace was always sure to throw a monkey wrench into your thoughts.

There were many characters involved in this book. Valerie Vincent is one of the main characters. She is a single mother raising her toddler daughter, Joanna. Valerie works for a woman named Antonia Carrera, who also is a main character. Kristin Denby is a woman who used to work for Antonia, but are now just friends. Johnny Starr is Valerie's ex - husband.

Johnny Starr became an alcoholic when he was married to Valerie. His behavior couldn't be tolerated so they separated. Johnny's parents are very religious people and seem to think the world of their son. Because they do they choose to accuse Valerie of every wrong thing

y recognized the pin. Antonia blackmailed Kristin, telling her that she wanted to have the child or she would report her to the cops. This whole time Antonia is playing along with Valerie, pretending to be helping to find Joanna. Valerie soon caught on to what was going on and got her daughter back.

I think the main theme of the book is that; it's the little things that count. I say this because, especially with a child, every little word or movement is what counts the most. In the book when Valerie sees the reality of it all she realizes that, if Joanna is gone for as much as 3 months that that would be a part of her life unknown to her forever. She realizes that there is so much that could be missed in a short period of time. Another example is at the end of the book when the two are reunited again. Joanna calls a squirrel a dog and Valerie is just thankful that she is able to be there and correct her. Little things and mistakes like that are what really
