Birth control was forgotten, the condom was flawed, an attacker came in the night, the timing just isn’t right, the boyfriend is gone and you are all alone... pregnant. What are you going to do? In today’s society a popular answer, as well as one that is accepted worldwide is abortion. The all too forgotten old fashion answer is adoption. Adoption is one of many options for women when they are caught with a surprise, or unwanted pregnancy. For many women, adoption is the best option for several reasons: it is healthier for the woman, it gives the child a chance, and it is morally correct. Many women look towards abortion as the answer to their “problem”. However they fail to see the many side effects of abortion. Adoption is better than abortion for both mental and physical reasons.
