"I come not, friends, to steal away your hearts; I am no orator as Brutus is;" says Marc Antony during his famous persuasion of the Plebeians at the Forum, "But (as you know me all) a plain blunt man." This couldn't be further from the truth. Throughout Act III in the famous Shakespearian play, Julius Caesar, Marc Antony is notorious for using his cunning speaking skills that give him a double personality. This gives him both roles of being a supporter of Brutus' plan in killing Caesar and a conniver against the man who took the life of his close friend.
To live up to his promise to Brutus that he will show his support towards him, Caesar often repeats himself in his famous oratory by saying that "Brutus is an honorable man." This puts the Plebeians under the impression that his motive is not to criticize Brutus, but to s

Marc Antony shows keenness that can aid in portraying more than one role in the play, Julius Caesar. He is able to come across as a proud supporter of Brutus while also turning the people against the Roman murderer of Caesar. This makes the reader unsure of the fate of Brutus and whether or not Marc Antony will prevail.
Although Marc Antony does a very good job as acting as Brutus' friend, he still manages to stir up and angry mob against Brutus. He does this in several ways.
