Pros and Cons of Bilingual Education

People in today’s society have opposite opinions on how to approach the issue of bilingual education. Basically, the sides are split on the issue of teaching bilingual education in United States schools. There are many excellent points and arguments for each side of the tape. Personally, I chose to believe that we should keep bilingual education out of the United States because of the high cost to taxpayers. This process of teaching foreigners, most of them illegal immigrants, our language takes a long period of time and consumes a large amount of taxpayer money.
