The motion picture Schindler’s List is a historical film that is filmed in mostly black and white and was produced by legendary director Steven Spielberg. It is based on a true story that happened during World War II. The movie was filmed in areas all over the world, spanning from the United States, Czechoslovakia, Europe, and Germany. The action takes place in a town called Krakow and its surrounding areas. The story is focused on the main character, Oskar Schindler. He is a non-Jew who is a member of the Nazi Party. He saves millions of Jews from going directly to death camps by starting a metal works factory. The Jews are very grateful to him, but at the beginning all he cares about is making a profit from the war. Another main character is Amon Goeth, a S.S. officer. In the film he is portrayed as a very mean and unpredictable man. He has a lot of power at most times can be very snaky. One of the main keys to this film would have to be Schindler’s Jewish accountant, Izahak Stern. He adds a touch of warmth and sanity to the film. Mr. Schindler may have all the money and get all the fame for his successful business, but it is really Izahak that runs the company.
