I Peter McIlmurray am a Irish-American. My mom was born in Ireland; County Down to be exact. My moms' maiden name is O'Hare; she came to America in the late 1960's. My Dad was born and raised in New York City. However my Grandpa was born in Dublin. Over the years my family and me have made several trips to Ireland. My mom has 8 brothers and sisters, so it is never any trouble to find a place to stay. Every time I go I always have a good time hanging out with my cousins or going site seeing. When I as about 11 my family and I climb the Mourn Mountains, a mountain my mom had climbed while she was growing up. I am proud to be Irish.
