The Renaissance period of time was a time of great change. It was also called the time of enlightenment, because so many things were discovered in that period of time. Many inventors like Leonard Deviance and theologians like Dr. luther helped change some of the ways we saw the world. In Hamlet you can see some of these changes and beliefs. Hamlet has a vary religious attitude in some parts that reflect the beliefs of the time.

The first belief that you can see in the play is the ghost of Hamlets father. The tie with religion is if you believed in a ghost then you believe in a life after death and that's what most religions have to do with. With the ghost showing up in the beginning of the play tells you that the people back then believed in some form of religion right in the beginning the play.
