Anti-Hand gun control

The Constitution was created to succeed where the Article of Confederation had failed. One of these areas where the Articles of Confederation failed was that the states were able to overrule the national government. For this reason, the Constitution is supposed to allow the national government to have first ruling over the states. However, they did not want a government that would lead to dictatorship. Therefore, an amendment such as the second was passed. This amendment gave the people the right to keep and bear arms. Hand gun control should not be passed as the populace would be ripe for a dictatorial takeover and not be able to fight back, they never worked in the past and the Constitution gives us the right to bear arms.

The second amendment states that " A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Not only did this right protect the people from foreign invasion, but it also ensured that our government did not become tyrannical, and ensured that if it did, we would be able to overthrow it.
