The daughters of teen mothers are 22% more likely to become teen mothers themselves. The sons of teen mothers are 13% more likely to end up in prison. Condom use is not safe sex. They fail. 14-16% fail to prevent pregnancy during the first year of use and this rate is higher among teens. 1 in 10 teen girls in America becomes pregnant each year. In 1999,
