Boo Radley symbolized a mocking bird in the book "To Kill a Mocking Bird." Boo was simply a guy who did not like to go out and associate with other people and because of this he was tormented and teased. When the Jem and Scout receive a gun and are hunting their father, Atticus, tells them that they could shoot any bird, but the mocking bird. The reason being that the mocking bird does nothing wrong, all it does is make beautiful music for everyone to hear.

When he went back later to get them they were all folded and sewn together. The children also would always find presents in the big tree in front until it was cemented closed. All of this was done by Boo in secret. The most important part was when Boo saved Jem and Scout from Ewell. Ewell attacked them and Boo was there to carry Jem unconscious back to their house, without him they would have died. Boo was a very nice man just misunderstood and not given a chance until the end.
