Arctic Wolf
The young cub awoke in the early hours of dawn, before his mother. This was not unusual, for the cub was adventuress and loved exploring the lair. As the cub’s eyes adjusted, he saw the wall of light at the far end of the lair, since he was just born, his world was still blurry, and the outside of the lair was just a wall of light to him. Every time he tried to approach the wall, he was driven back by his mother’s claws and fangs. Today was different, he had been awake for what seemed a long while, and his mother had not so much as stirred. So the cub headed for the wall of light, following some instinct deep down to explore and discover. Just as he reached the wall, he hesitated, because he had had many other encounters with the other walls, and he had the bruises to prove it. But there was something different about this wall, something unexplained, this gave him the slightest bit of confidence that he needed, and he stepped cautiously into the wall. When hi first paw went th!rough unharmed, he ventured his second front paw out, and finally, his head. Immediately he was transported into a bright world of incomprehensible light, this is the story of Slash’s first day out in the world.
