During the 1940's, the navy was believed to try to turn a ship invisible. It was called Project Rainbow, or more frequently called the Philadelphia experiment. Whether or not it did happen is a complete mystery. If so it is one of the most paranormal incidents since Moses' exodus through the Red Sea.
