In the novel "To kill a mockingbird" by Harper Lee The Character Jem Finch is a very brave character. Jem is always sticking up for his little sister even in times that he is scared, he stays strong.
An example of Jem's bravery is at the very end of the book when Jem and Scout are walking back from the school Halloween pagent in the pitch black. They heard someone following them and Jem kept reasuring scout that it was just a kid or the wind, even though he was scared himself. And when he was jumped by Bob Ewell he first thinks of Scout's safety and kicks lose to help Scout run. I think this is the best example of Jem's
