As soon as I heard the door open, and heard that phony, sugar sweet voice saying hi to everyone, I just knew, this week was going to be hell! My boyfriend's prissy, goody two-shoed, know-it-all aunt came into town, and somehow I needed to make an escape. After being ordered around in my own house, she finally suggested something I'd enjoy, a movie. She had chosen "Cast Away" which was the perfect choice considering I'd rather be stranded on a deserted island than with her. As soon as the movie started I completely absorbed myself, and soon forgot she was even in the same room. ...The year is 1995, and Tom Hanks plays an overworked Federal Express executive whose mantra is to do anything necessary to get a package to its destination on time. While enjoying Christmas dinner with his girlfriend and family, he is called away to Malaysia. A short time later he is airborne, flying through stormy skies over the South Pacific. Hanks and his crew loose their coordinates, and then there's and explosion which sends the plane careening into the water. Luckily he makes it ashore using an inflatable raft, after spending the night basking among the stormy waves. He awakes to the popping of his raft on
