It was Worth Waiting For................ Becoming apart of any group can always be complicated, especially in these times. In today's society people, especially teenagers, can be very cruel to one another. Every teenager in America wants to become apart of that one special group in high school and or college, and sometimes they will do almost anything to feel accepted. Feeling accepted into that special group makes them feel better about themselves and boosts their self-esteem. They feel like they have plenty friends and won't ever feel rejected by anyone. Fitting in with the group is where difficulties come in. A lot of groups have a certain look about them, whether its the way they dress, the way they talk, or the way they act, filling those holes are not always easy. Some people want so badly to fit in with a group that they conform their image, which sometimes leads to things like anorexia or taking drugs. Is it really worth it to feel accepted? Only the person herself/himself can decide how and why her/his groups are worth waiting for.
