A detailed Summary of Macbeth: THe Movie


This Roman Polanski movie illustrates the darkness and gloom Shakespeare must have felt while writing this great masterpiece. Macbeth is one of my favorite Shakespearean plays, it's a story of a man who's desire to be King caused him to pay a high price for his greed. I really admire how Shakespeare was able to combine comedies and dark sides to the characters of Macbeth. I find Shakespeare a man of great imagination and skill and therefore cannot connect his works to other works of writers!

I noticed that this movie is not a loose interpretation of Macbeth, in fact it shows all
