“Religion, a Belief for the Past”A “belief” is generally defined as a statement, principle, or doctrine that a person or group accepts to be true. In my family of seven you can undoubtedly expect that not every one hold’s the same beliefs to be true. My family is Roman Catholic, but my siblings and I are increasingly fading away from the faith. My parents both lived in a mainly Christian populated area of eastern Pennsylvania, and also attended Jesuit high schools. Those schools, at that time, essentially programmed children while they were in their innocent youth. In those schools you are pretty much forced to believe in all the concepts of the Catholicism or you are told to suffer the consequences by going directly to Hell. After so many years, of what many believe to be brainwashing, how could any child not follow the religion. These days my mother is still a loyal catholic, still attends church on a regular basis, and seems enjoys it very much. While my dad on the other hand seems to attend just out of habit
