Lots of people like to interpret Hebrews as God takes away our salvation and we must earn it back. The true interpretation is that God will chastise us when we are out of his will. This is important to me because I need to realize that even if I sin or not let God work through my life I do not lose my salvation. It does not talk about my loss of salvation it speaks of my loss of heavenly reward. I lose the rewards God himself has set aside for me in heaven. So I need to keep that in mind. I might not ever lose my salvation, but I might lose the reward God had set aside for me if I chose to live a life in

People have many things they worship, some without even realizing it. We worship things like money, television, video games, or whatever takes away from the time we spend with God. Somethimes I have a problem with this. I like to get involved with my games and television that I do not want to spend time in the Word of God. I get to wrapped up in time with my friends that I totally forget about the quiet time I should be spending with Him. I just need to keep in mind that God never puts me second to anything. Why should I put him second to almost everything like so many people today do? That is on of my biggest struggles. I just need to realize that nothing but God deserves all my time and devo
