Terrorism is the use of force or violence against persons or property in violation of the criminal laws of the United States for purposes of intimidation, coercion or ransom. Terrorists often use threats to create fear among the public, to try to convince citizens that their government is powerless to prevent terrorism, and to get immediate publicity for their causes (“Backgrounder – Terrorism is a huge problem and on my opinion will become an even bigger problem in the future. First of all, the problem of terrorism will grow because it poses lots of threats on our society. Secondly, with time passing attack fluency and destruction size of terrible acts of terrorism have shown to grow. That will continue to cause numerous deaths of people somehow related to the terrorist group or not in relation, therefore innocent civilians. Also large amount of money needs to be spent to prevent terrorism. And at last, the number of terrorist organizations drastically increases, and shows greater danger, because of the groups’ capabilities, strengths, the activities they have committed and the support they get from a huge number of countries worldwide.
